Well when it's Christmas time where would be the perfect trip for your not so ordinary gnome? A pilgimage of sorts to the 'holy' township of Jerusalem would do very nicely indeed.
It's only a short trip up the Whanganui River (this Jerusalem is in New Zealand of course), passing through some towns along the way that would make you feel more at home in Europe but thats a story for another day, have a very merry Christmas everybody!!
