Baring Head Lighthouse

It was a beautiful sunny new years holiday so we decided to take a trip to Baring Head and check out the views from the lighthouse situated on the coast. Stunning views were on offer today although the South Island of New Zealand was shrouded in cloud but hey you can't win all the time.

Our run of the mill hero Gnorman enjoyed the views for himself but wasn't a big fan of the southerly wind that was blowing in from the Cook Strait.

    Where is Baring Head Lighthouse Gnorman and how many steps up the hill to get there?

      It's part of the East Harbour Regional Park, no steps up to it but it is a nice gentle stroll through the paddocks full of sheep!!
