Blowin' Away

Gnorman took a wee moment to admire the sign on The Miramar Cutting depicting Wellingtons wind blowing the citys' name away.  Wellington is known as the windy city and is regularly buffeted by strong winds.  Watching planes land at the airport can be a hairy experience!!

Gnorman himself was blown away by the witty sign, in fairness it's a much better design than what was originally planned.  Although there has been a noticeable lack of wind in Wellington since the sign has been erected.
